Eligibility: A minimum of 60% aggregate in qualifying examination.
Note:(i) Admissions to M.E./M.Pharm are based on performance in computer-based online test conducted by BITS. The online tests will be held during 3rd-4th June 2012 at centers in India.
(ii) For MBA Programme,in addition to online test as in (i) above candidates shortlisted will also have to appear for a test in Reading Comprehension, Group Discussion and Interview to be held in Pilani on 27th July 2012. Input qualification: M.E/M.Pharm./MBA/M.Phil of BITS or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Candidates with an M.Sc./B.E./B.Pharm or an equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate will also be considered for Ph.D. admission. For Ph.D. Programme in Languages and Humanities, candidates with an M.A. and with minimum of 55% aggregate may also be considered.
Industries and R&D organizations collaborating with BITS may sponsor candidates to work for Ph.D. under “Aspirants scheme”. Its details are available at www.bitsadmission.com.
For the Ph.D. programmes shortlisted candidates will be asked to come to Pilani/Goa/Hyderabad for test and/or interview during 2nd week of July.

Assistantship and fee waiver
Applicants for admission to the Ph.D. and Higher Degree programs will also be considered for Teaching/Project/Research assistantships to the tune of upto Rs 8000 p.m. for Higher Degree and Rs14000 p.m. for Ph.D. in addition to partial tuition fee waiver scheme. Such selected candidates will be required to participate in teaching and other developmental programs of the institute under guidance of instructor/mentor.For details please visit www.bitsadmission.com

Application procedure
Eligible candidates may apply through the prescribed application form available online at www.bitsadmission.com and take a printout of the filled form. The completed application form along with the proof of fee payment of Rs 1600 should be sent to Admission officer, BITS, Pilani-333031.
