Hunar Se Rojgar Program 2012

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has launched short job oriented hospitality course in the trades of: -

• Food Production (Cook)- 8 Weeks
• Food & Beverage Service (Waiter)- 6 Weeks
• Housekeeping Utility- 6 Weeks

Eligibility: 8th Pass

These courses would be delivered by Institute of Hotel Management Catering & Nutrition, Gurdaspur which is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management, Noida. These courses would be conducted in the batch size of 25 to 30 students while the selection would be through application received on first come first serve basis.

While there is no course fee, students would be paid stipend of Rs. 1500/- for 6 weeks Courses and Rs. 2000/- for 8 weeks Courses upon attaining minimum 90% attendance. Besides stipend students are entitled for tool kit, uniform & lunch free of cost. Upon completion of the course test would be conducted by the National Council for awarding certificates. The Institute would make efforts to organize campus recruitment by trade organizations for employment.

The 20th Batch of Food Production, 18th Batch Food & Beverage and 1st Batch of Housekeeping Utility program is likely to start on 11th October, 2012.
